Measure the facade
House perimeter × height, then subtract windows and doors. Work out gables as triangles.

Choose the thickness
New builds today mostly get 10 to 15 cm, depending on regulations and the wall.

Add the finish coat
Besides adhesive and mesh, allow for the render finish, usually 2.5 to 3 kg/m² for 1.5 mm grain.
