How big is the roof and how many tiles, battens and membrane does it need? Enter the size of the roof slopes and get the quantities.
Area = length × rafter length × number of slopes · Tiles = area × pcs/m² × (1 + allowance)
Measure along the pitch: the length along the eaves and the rafter length from eaves to ridge, for every slope.
The number per m² is on the data sheet: usually 10 to 12 for interlocking clay tiles.
Work out ridge, hips and flashing separately per linear metre.

10 to 12 for most interlocking tiles, and up to 35 for plain beaver-tail tiles.
For each slope multiply the length along the eaves by the rafter length and add all slopes together.
In AdBooks you save tiles, battens, membrane and labour per m² as items and send the roof quote in 5 minutes.
